I arrived home after a week-long trip to the midwest, to find fall in full color here in the valley.   The trees are gorgeous, and my cosmos are still going crazy!  The river is as low as I've ever seen it, I think they are doing some work up-river and have cut the flow.  The bald eagles have returned, and are constantly scanning the river for fish.  I love seeing them, but it's a sure sign that winter is on the way.  

Before I left I had moved my tomato planter inside to the dining room where it would still get sun.  The dang thing is STILL producing, and I harvested a bowl FULL of ripe, sweet gems.....caprese salad for dinner tonight!!  I LOVE THIS PLACE!
