After arriving in Colorado to freezing winds and 3 inches of snow and ice, we have been experiencing nice fall weather here in Gunnison. We have about recovered from the travel fatigue, and managed to get re-settled after trapping a huge pack rat that had invaded the house! Lou went hunting with his brother and a friend on the Tuesday morning after we got home on Sunday. They had just arrived in camp and were unloading the truck when a giant bull elk came right to them, and soon lost its life. They spent the rest of the day cleaning it, and Lou was home the next evening.
I will update this blog periodically if anything interesting happens, or we take another trip, or I get some great pictures of something. Thanks for following along!!
